Lens 1 – Women
Women seek out coaching because they want things to be different. They are looking for change or have important goals to reach. They are motivated to achieve specific goals: to write a book, start a business, to have a healthier body. They come to coaching to be more effective, develop new skills, and help navigate life’s changes. Sometimes women want more from life: more security, more impact in their work. Sometimes they want less confusion, less stress, less financial pressure. In general, they come to coaching because they want a greater quality of life: more fulfillment, better balance, or a different process for accomplishing their life desires. Whatever the individual reason, it all starts with the stirring motivation within you.
Like the seasons, we transition in and out of events in our lives: i.e., career, relationship, or various stages in these areas. The choices we make often hold long-term consequences, which makes us even more nervous when deciding–questioning which direction to take, especially when we’re already so unsure and full of doubt in our discernment.
Some of us prefer looking at the role we have as the leading agents of our entire lives– rather than a specific event–realizing we can alter ANY external circumstance to work in our favor if we feel strong at our core. For that reason, these women prefer looking inwards in lieu of investing their attention on an external situation.
I conduct life-coaching for both these approaches through Transitional Life Coaching and Consciousness Life Coaching.
